The Morrison House
This architect’s home is ideally situated on a sloping lot in Fort Washington. This mid-century modern was designed by Robert Morrison. Built in 1963, Morrison and his family enjoyed living in the home for nearly 50 years. Walls of windows and glass doors give the feeling of living in the trees and help to create a seamless indoor-outdoor transition.
Today the home is occupied by a fun-loving couple, Brandi and Dave, and their dog, Winnie Cooper. In addition to her day job in regulatory affairs, Brandi curates vintage and handmade home decor for her home shop, brandeye. Dave is a high school anatomy teacher and plays guitar in several bands including Crossed Keys, Jackie Thousand and Stranger Stations.
